In WWII, the Chrysler plant in Evansville, Indiana made steel cased 45 ACP for the war effort. Headstamped "E C" for Evansville Chrysler or "E C S" for "Evansville Chrysler Sunbeam". Sunbeam manufactured the steel cases for the ammunition and shipped them to the Chrysler plant where the ammunition was manufactured. This ammunition is corrosive primed, but this is more of a collector's piece. A very neat piece of World War II history!
