20 round box of Greek surplus 8mm Mauser ammunition, 1938-1940 production. This ammo is brass cased, corrosive berdan primed, and has a 198 grain lead core full metal jacket projectile. This ammunition is perfect food for your K98 or M48! Because this ammunition is corrosive primed, make sure to clean your rifle thoroughly after each use. If a certain year is preferred, put your preference (1938 or 1940) in the order notes and we will accommodate it if inventory allows. Please note: it has come to our attention that this ammunition has some duds and some hang fires, so we have dropped the price significantly in order to clear it out.

    Hit or Miss

This is not a bad review for Dozer. They are fantastic and I will continue to buy from them. The two stars are only for the ammo from a shooter's POV. The ammo came well packaged and looked really good! It is a cool collector's piece. However, I just want to warn everyone that this ammo can be hit or miss if you are planning on shooting it, I'm guessing due to their age or potential water ingress on the rounds/primers. I didn't notice any signs of water ingress though. Out of my VZ-24, I was having only around 1-2 out of 5 rounds firing properly. Most were hang firing (about a 1/4 sec max after puling the trigger) with some failing to fire with normal primer strikes. The ones I got were 1940 boxed with a production date of 1939 on the ammo.
