A less common headstamp variant M2AP armor piercing 30-06, this Utah Ordnance ammunition has a headstamp of "U 42". Utah Ordnance put the least amount of black paint on the tips of their armor piercing projectiles, as can be seen in the photos. This ammunition is in very good shape for its age, and is brass cased and (corrosive) boxer primed.
