Incredibly rare M14A1 API 30-06! These are genuine USGI factory loads, not remans! The 30-06 Armor Piercing Incendiary was rolled out to the military in 1947 and saw use in the Korean War. This cartridge, although extremely effective, was unfortunately short lived due to the military's transition away from the 30-06 and into the 7.62x51 cartridge. The short timeframe that this ammunition was produced is one of the reasons it's so scarce now, along with it being highly sought after by shooters and collectors alike. This ammunition is Garand safe (it was designed to be fired out of the M1 Garand), and reported to be non corrosive, but out of an abundance of caution, it is advised that you clean your rifle after each use. The majority of M14A1 API on hand is Frankford Arsenal '53 headstamped, although you may also receive Lake City '53 or FN '55, which is all loaded to the same spec and has the same projectile.
