1978 production Czech military parachute rocket flares! Unlike a traditional flare that requires a flare gun and a flare charge, the Czech rocket flares contain the launching device and flare in a single device. Simply unscrew the cap, grab the string, aim at a 35-40 degree angle, and snap the string downward to launch the flare. The parachute provides addtional hang time for the flare charge. The MK211 Raufoss 50 BMG round pictured is not included, it is just to provide scale. When these are gone they're gone!

These are definitely going to be interesting to test once the weather gets a bit wetter. The flares were in extremely good shape for surplus and the shipping was very fast. Overall, great products and a great company.
